Replace Lightning with USB-C on all iPhones by end of 2024
Following the EU's common charger directive, Apple committed in October 2022 to transition iPhones to USB-C to comply with the December 28, 2024 deadline. The iPhone 15 (September 2023) was the first iPhone to ship with USB-C, satisfying the promise ahead of the deadline.
